I would like to use this as a fishing tackle bag. does it come with shoulder straps or do i have to order separately?
It comes with two adjustable straps on the back that can be unclipped from the bottom of the bag.
How do the back straps work
There arent any. There are two handles but its roughly the size of a small handheld toolbox. Cant put it on your back really.
I’m a bit confused here. What comes with this Mussette bag and what size is the bag? One reviewer was saying that they received different sized bags than the 12”x12”x6” listed here.
The musette bag that I received measures 12"x12"x6" and was just as the ad described with 2 side pockets and straps. There nothing else that comes with the bag. This is a very nice bag; well constructed. Great for day hikes.
Does the opening/top of the main compartment have any means of being closed, such as a zipper or drawstring or straps of some kind, or does it just remain permanently wide open with only the outer flap closer to close it? If there is only the outer flap closure, does it fully cover the opening of the main compartment? Can small items easily fall out, if the bag is dropped? I’m concerned about the main compartment not being secured, leaving it vulnerable to either losing items or allowing water from a spring shower to get into it from the sides.
The bag is open, open but the flap does fold over and secures. If you are talking little things like lighters, yes, there is enough of a gap if you do not pack it correctly. I just layer a shmahg on top
