The best base layer starts with the original insulator- wool. Wool provides warmth even when wet and is naturally antimicrobial making it an excellent choice for a next to skin layer. Carefully made with robust stitching (as seen in our detailed photo) and an ideal blend of fabrics; 90% wool and 10% polyester. It feels great on the skin, not itchy, and stretches comfortably. Wear the set together or separately! The top is foliage green in color with a ¼ zip neck and elastic waist/cuffs. Drawers are cream color with extra wide elastic waist for comfort and elastic ankles. Made in Italy. Genuine European Military Surplus.
Sizing note: As is the case with much European clothing, we find that the sizing is just in between standard US sizing. The M/L is right in between medium and large, and could work for both sizes depending on your build. The same applies for the L/XL. Keep in mind it does stretch.
