4 Cylinder Gas Engine, 32 cid

This is a used but in great condition Military Standard 32 c.i.d horizontally opposed air cooled gasoline engine. This is a Military Standard engine, used on a number of pieces of equipment such as generators, pumps, welders, etc., manufactured in the early nineties. The military doesn't rate horsepower on engines the same way civilian engines are rated, but our dyno experience has shown it to be in the 15-20 HP range. Uses a standard, civilian, spin-on oil filter. Ignition is magneto type, which allows engine to run without battery power. Fuel pump allows use of an external tank. Unit has oil pump and an exhaust manifold on each side to which a muffler/mufflers can be easily attached. It has a horizontal crankshaft with a drilled and tapped flywheel for output connection, shown in second photo. This motor has a pull start. This is a beautiful, tough, smooth little 4 cylinder that's perfect for lots of projects, used, low hours! By the way, the US Military paid $2,400 each for these engines!
