Specifically, these boots are designated by the United States Marine Corps as hot weather boots that protect the wearer against heat and rigors of mountainous terrain. We feel it is an excellent three-season boot depending upon your personal preferences and climate. These are genuine combat boots, designed for warfighters. They will be hard to put on at first because they are designed to stay on once they are on. They will loosen up as you wear them.
