Is there a zip-in-out lining?

There is NO lining for warmth . This Italian combat/BDU uniform (Roma 75) is basically a heavier poly/cotton twill with a lighter "lining" sewn into the back. There are sewn-in fabric reinforcement strips to accommodate the carrying of rifle mags/grenades in the pockets. There are fabric "separators" in the bottom pockets. This serves well as a light jacket/heavy BDU in a temperature range of 40-80° farenheit. FYI it's still being used as a field/tactical response uniform with matching pants, by some Italian police and sworn security personnel.
