Vintage Swiss Military Kerosene Floodlight Projector
The original “off the grid” floodlight! The Tilley FL6 floodlight design has been lighting up borders, prison camps, and various European military installations for decades upon decades. This is a very rare and special piece of Military Surplus. Think of it as a supersize Coleman style lantern. Not one single detail was overlooked when these were meticulously crafted by hand, right down to the the special protective armored glass. When properly configured, this light boasts a whopping 3,000 candle power! No electricity required! Includes rare special spiked stand which allows the projector to be secured into the ground and tilted upwards or downwards and swing completely around. Comes with special hand made solid wood storage/transport box. Made to burn ordinary kerosene. Most appear to be dated in the 1960’s. Stands approximately 6’ tall.
