This is an authentic helmet, with a lot of history. These early 1950’s era helmets are date is stamped on the inside of the shell. This helmet replaced the Mark III helmet that was used during WWII. It has a close resemblance, the only difference being the rivets attaching the chin strap are much lower on the helmet. This unique helmet is stainless steel, and comes with a suspension, an adjustable liner and an elastic chin strap with a brass end. These helmets would be a great addition to any militaria collection! Used Condition.
