This genuine Turkish Army surplus rucksack is best described as a Turkish woodland ALICE-style medium field pack, built from hard-wearing Cordura nylon and cut in a Turkish camouflage pattern derived from U.S. M81 woodland. The layout is what makes it so compelling: a top-loading main compartment with drawcord closure under a protective lid, five exterior utility pockets for organized storage, lightly padded adjustable shoulder straps, and drainage eyelets at the bottom to shed moisture when conditions turn ugly. You can place this model in the roughly 35–40 liter class, depending on capacity. With the main body commonly listed around 12" L x 6" W x 15" H, making it an excellent size for a practical 2–3 day loadout, vehicle kit, camp rig, or old-school bug-out bag. It is also designed to accept a U.S.-pattern ALICE frame for better load support. This pack does not come with a frame, but it has shoulder straps. You can use it as is, or pair with ALICE or similar frame. Used, issued condition. Genuine Turkish Military Surplus. Made in Turkey.
Expert Tips: Pack your densest items high and close to the back panel so the bag carries more comfortably, keep quick-access gear in the three front pouches and side drawcord pockets, and give the snaps, straps, and stitching a quick once-over before first use since surplus examples often show normal service wear. After wet-weather use, empty it fully and let it air dry open to protect the Cordura fabric and keep moisture from lingering in the seams and pocket corners. If you plan to carry heavier loads regularly, pairing it with a compatible ALICE frame is the smartest upgrade you can make.
