Is the sizing appropriate for an adult (accurate to the originals)?

The helmet fits adults good. I can't give an opinion on weather it's like issue I wasn't in the military. I got it to put in a m151 Mutt for display.

Is the shell steel, and is the thickness of the steel accurate to the original?

The helmet feels heavy and authentic
