Description

Opportunities to own an old-world quality, 100% wool blanket at a fair price is extremely rare in today’s surplus market. Tucked away in a clean warehouse for over 70 years, these heirloom quality blankets are an incredible find you don’t want to pass up. Wool blankets possess a unique quality to insulate and keep you warm even when wet, making them crucial for survival situations. Unlike your average 100% wool blanket, these are relatively soft to the touch. As with most genuine surplus, these blankets were made by numerous manufacturers in Canada and there will be variations. Shades of gray will vary, dates will vary from the 1950’s to 1960’s, some will be blank, some have stripes or lettering. We pick and ship at random. All are of the same high quality and will have whip stitching. Perfect for bushcraft, cabins, camp, home, emergency car kits, prepping, and more. Makes a great gift! Measures approximately 60’’ x 80’’. Weighs approximately 4lbs. Unused excellent condition, virtually no foul smell! Made in Canada.

What are the sizes

Just took out the tape measure. The one on my bed is approximately 82“ x 61“. The listing in the description is fairly accurate. I Purchased two blankets both same manufacturer “Globe Mills LTD.” Meaford, Ontario dated 1957. No foul odor, but a little bit dusty. The label also has some sort of round ink stamp over top of label tag. Possibly QC inspection Mark. It’s a lightweight wool blanket. Good for temps around 60°. Cheers
