WWII Italian Military Leather Tankers Helmet

This is a WWII M35 Italian Tankers helmet. Made of tightly stitched high quality black leather with a tan leather lining/suspension. The leather flap was originally installed to keep oil and debris from the tankers neck while the permanently attached thick leather padded bumper around the helmet was for extra protection to the tankers head. Vent holes on each side of the helmet provides sufficient ventilation through the padding and liner. The liner is divided into 7 flaps tied together with a leather string. Leather adjustable chin strap. Each helmet is stamped with manufacturer name and the date the helmet was manufactured.
