Does the fur lined collar version come with a hood?

I have the jacket without the fur collar. The hood has buttons and can be removed, it also has more buttons that I think are for buttoning the fur collar, it is one of the best jackets I have, warm and the fabric is thick and of high quality

Is there any chance one can buy the inner lining alone without the rest of the jacket?

I don't know if you can buy that specific liner alone, but there are several stand-alone liners out there. If you just want a liner, WARSAW PACT OLIVE DRAB FIELD JACKET W/ LINER is about $25 [for jacket and liner!] which is cheaper than some stand-alone liners.

Is the fur collar removable ?

Yes it is. It's real fur, by the way, so don't put it in the washing machine.

I'm 5'11 215lbs. Should I order L or XL? Any help appreciated.

I'm 6'1" and 230lb with 45" Chest and long arms and wide shoulders (average to athletic build). I needed a XXL. Anything smaller would have been too small. I'd say you need a size up from what you normally wear. Also, these have an elastic at the waist area rather than a draw cord, so they stay tight to the body. Good if you wear any load bearing equipment or run a gunbelt outside the coat but might be uncomfortable for those with a big gut. Hope this helps.

Is it waterproof?

It's more of a winter jacket for below freezing temperatures, so we haven't had a chance to try it in the rain, and we live pretty far north. Although, wait long enough and yes, you could get caught in one of those situations when the weather changes, so good question.. The shell seems to be a mix of material, not 100% cotton, so it would likely have some water shedding ability.. Having a poncho with you would be the best option if you anticipate the likelihood of snow/rain mix. Ponchos are great for rain and layer well with other clothes for all seasons. This is a very nice coat, bought it for my daughter for late season archery. Very high quality coat for the price..
