From the look and description, it could be Mule Tape. Does is have the same tensile strength?

never heard of mule tape, so I can't answer that question. And I have no clue as to the grey nylon webbing's tensile strength. Sorry I can't help you.

The listing for this NSN says this webbing has slots along the length at about 5" intervals. I can't see the slots in Colman's photos. Can someone who's purchased tell me if there are slots that split this webbing or is this solid webbing, no slots? Thanks.

The webbing does have 1 inch slots between layers. The webbing is 1 inch wide with 1 inch slots every other inch. It seems to be woven this way. It doesn't decrease the integrity. I use it for shoulder straps for bags that I sew. I was surprised, but would purchase again.
