Description
This is an extremely nice relic from the Cold War. Manufactured by the East German Army and stamped Made in GDR (German Democratic Republic) these shovels were issued to the East German Infantry Units. Very sturdily made, the 12” handle is made of a hard wood, with a heavy forged steel blade. Styles may vary. Versatile shovel can be used with the blade fully extended as a spade or at a 45 degree angle. Unused Condition.
