At the center of the kit is Rite in the Rain’s No. 735 notebook, featuring 100 pages / 50 sheets of 20 lb all-weather paper, a Wire-O binding, durable Polydura cover, and versatile universal page pattern in a highly portable 3" x 5" format. The included black Mini Bolt-Action Pen measures approximately 4.37" long, uses a .9 mm point, and contains a pressurized cartridge engineered to write through demanding conditions, including temperatures from -30°F to 250°F and underwater to a manufacturer-rated depth of 35 feet. The bolt mechanism is an especially smart touch for EDC use because it helps prevent the pen from accidentally deploying inside a pocket or pack.
