Are these verified unused unissued for potable water use? I'm asking because I've bought large containers from another vendor that had previously had chemicals in them.

the 3 i bought seem to be new and never used. they do have a rubbery plastic smell but that is probably because of the material they are made of.rinsed and used seems ok.

Can you hang this bladder with the brass grommets? I am considering hanging it up and filling the bladder with water

I would not given the age of the bladder, even when they were new they only were to help tie down the bladder.

Are there baffles in this bladder, or will I need to worry about fluid movement/weight transfer if transporting in a vehicle?

No baffles so fluid moves around when transporting.

Is this a legit 500L/132Gallon bladder? That would be 1,100lbs of fluid, if it's correct.

Yes, it’s legit. It’s big, heavy, with a kinda chalky substance on it. Just in case of a dire situation, of course, when there was a possibility of the water being off for a long time. My plans would be to, while still having water pressure, rinse it off and flush out the inside. Then, making sure, since you’d never move it after, put it exactly where I wanted it and then fill it. The water from it would be filtered prior to consumption. It’s one of those things where it’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. In my opinion, it was worth the investment.
