APLS Thermal Guard is a absorbent and disposable litter. great for EMT’S or any situation where patient transport may be needed.. such as evacuation situations. This is an insulated bag for warmth, it will also absorb bodily fluids. They can be used alone or on top of stretchers and/or litters as an absorbent fluid barrier. This transport bag has a full zipper down the middle, and one across the bottom, that opens the bag completely for easy access. For extra warmth there is a hood which is attached by a zipper. Lightweight but strong the outer shell is made of an nylon canvas that can be folded or rolled for ease of storage and transport. Each litter supports up to 450 pounds, and has eight handles for easy carrying and transport, they also have several pockets for patient documents and or medical accessories. and each litter comes in a compressed vacuum packed bag.
