The French Foreign Legion was and still is an elite branch of the French Army. This unique branch of the military is made up of foreign nationals wishing to serve, but are commanded by French officers. Many years ago their unique blue steel helmets had a embossed emblem, later helmets had a sticker. These helmets come with a liner and suspension. Details of both may vary slightly due to multiple manufactures in that era. These Vintage/Collectible helmets are dated 1950’s—1970’s in the suspension. Stainless steel. Used/Nice Condition.
