Description
Long forgotten in the corner of an old abandoned warehouse, these bags have not seen light for decades. This bag would have been issued to Russian medics during the long fought Soviet-Afghan War that started in 1979. This bag has a great, vintage look to it. It sure would make a unique laptop bag! There are a few smaller storage compartments inside. All metal hardware. Cotton canvas construction. The front and back of the bag are rigid so the bag keeps its shape. Measures approximately 11’’ high x 13’’ wide x 4’’ deep. Unused condition. May have slight corrosion or musty smell from long term storage, but overall these are very nice for their age. Genuine European Military Surplus.

Hi, I just got one of these and very happy with it. Tucked inside was a long canvas type strap with a slide type adjustable buckle that I don’t see any obvious use for. It’s probably 10 feet long or so- anybody know what it’s for?

Looks like it could be a belt. Here's another seller which has a picture of it. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254015020532 Not sure what else it could be.
