Description

These universal military skis are built with elements of both cross country skiing and downhill skiing in mind. They are slightly wider like a downhill ski, but they have an arch and a center groove like a cross-country ski.

These white military skis are tapped for binders (bindings not included) and have a wood core, tap and torsion box construction. These skis have a 75/65/70 sidecut and are unissued.

Any chance there a way for you to ship these to Canada? i am willing to buy more than one pair

I bought these earlier this year (2025). It cost nearly $70 to have them shipped within the US, so they are not such a bargain after all! Great "old school" straight, backcountry skis, in new and unused condition. Looking forward to using them this winter.

What does the 200/210 mean?

This refers to the length of the ski: 200cm or 210cm

Do these skis have steps or fish scales like back country skis do for climbing

You have to buy them separately. There I got mine and they work well. Hurry, he claims they are almost gone.

Posting for those interested in relevant ski bindings: The image shows skis tapped for a NATO 120M binding (NSN 8465-01-334-9508). There are vendors out there for said bindings, although they do not come cheap (~$100). Coleman's used to sell (out of stock for a while now) pairs of USGI Ramer XC bindings (NSN 8465-01-281-4011). These bindings can be found around the internet as well, for cheaper than a NATO 120M (~$35), while providing the same function (although requiring different holes to be tapped). Both bindings are compatible with a Norwegian M77 combat boot (internet vendors), the Mickey Mouse/Bunny ECW boots (sold by Coleman's), or any mountain boot with a shelf at the rear of the heel for a binding wire. Long story short: If you want the bindings that these skis come tapped for, buy the NATO 120Ms, NSN (look this number up on Google) 8465-01-334-9508. If you don't mind getting these skis tapped with new holes, save some cash and buy the Ramer bindings, NSN 8465-01-281-4011.

Hey Buddy, I actually bought these skis recently and outfitted them with the Ramer bindings, which I believe cost about 65 bucks. I couldn’t find those NATO 120M bindings, could you please share a link maybe? Also, for whoever’s interested, these skis could theoretically be outfitted with any binding of your choice. Just a heads up though- these are not waxless skis! They need grip wax to provide traction needed for forward movement. Good luck!

I have an old pair of these I'm looking to replace. Mine are equipped with scales. Are these skis waxless? Or can you confirm if scales are on the bottom - mid section?

There are no scales. Just plain skis.
