Russian Military TA 57 Field Phone
- 5 Star Customer Service
- Family Owned and Operated
Description
In 1957 the Soviets invented a small phone with a powerful transistor built into its own compact, portable case. That phone was the TA 57. This slender phone in a brown marbled Bakelite case measuring only 8½” x 6½” x 3” and weighing only 5.5 pounds also gave this phone an advantage. These phones are still a favorite among users and collectors alike, because of its state of the art (for 1957) built in transistor amplifier. These hard to find phones are in a very nice slightly used condition. Shoulder strap not included. We do not test these phones, therefore we do not warrant functionality.
