Description

These Cold weather boot liners are designed to be paired with N-1B Mukluk boots. However, we have found that they work well with many other style mukluk boots both civilian and military. They can also be worn by themselves at night during cold winter months, especially when camping. Made in USA of 100% wool. Cream color. Sold by the pair.

We graded these liners based on condition. Some have come in and appear to have been slightly used/laundered or simply do not meet our specs for unused. All will be perfectly functional. Please make your grade and size selection below.

Grade 1: Unused Condition.
Grade 2: Slightly used or laundered. Good condition.

Do you need to add a size on the boot when you want the liners?

Medium is designed to fit men's 9-10 boot size. Large is designed to fit men's 11-12 boot size. Bear in mind that these are designed specifically to work with the N1-B mukluk boots that are large enough to accommodate your foot inside the liner. Trying to cram these thick felt liners into your normally-sized combat boots is a definite no-go.

How to answer a size question: You say, when I buy shoes (tennis shoe, walking or hiking shoe) I buy american size (whatever size you buy). Then you say what size of liner you bought. Then you say how they fit. It will give people a better idea?

The Cold weather sock/boot liner is designed for the mukluk. My combat boot is a 10.5 or 11 wide depending upon the maker. So my mukluk and the liner should both be either a medium or a large. My personal gear is a medium; my issued gear is whatever the Supply Section has on hand.

Would the medium be a size 12? One person said the large was big on his size 14.

The large is supposed to be size 11-13. Medium would be smaller than that.

How do you wash these things?

Haven't washed mine yet, but I'm planning on cold, gentle cycle, air dry. MAYBE low heat dry, but they're wool, so I don't want them to shrink. They're inexpensive enough that you could probably just buy multiple pairs and then throw them out at the end of the season (or more often if you're wearing them a lot).
